Not many audio companies are keen in creating a demo car with Sound Quality in their mind. It is undeniable that SQ tuning is a much tedious task and the end result is subjective. As such, in many audio competitions, the SQ category is the one that usually attracts the least number of competitors if compared to the much popular SPL category.

However, for most private car owner, SPL is definitely not their first choice. With thunderous bass and drums sound thumping, it might even get a bit irritating, more so if you are hot under the collar caught in a traffic jam. Building a good audio system for SQ as mentioned is not as easy as it look. A lot of experts suggested that the best SQ system should be the simplest in terms of set-up, but must have the ability to fill the room with good sound quality. What the experts meant is that the sound staging, sharpness and power from each frequency is heard with the same level of quality, whether by the driver up front or the passenger at the rear.
