It’s Getting Hotter!!!
With only 4 rounds left, the battle among the teams in G1 and G2 are getting even fiercer with breathtaking high-speed actions – all eyeing for the championship title!
Round 6 in category G1 saw a close race among the top 4 leading teams, Radical 2, Kei DCOCM, Radical 1 and team Laps. These teams are battling it out for the Formula PLUS CUP SERIES title as well. Team Kei DCOM has emerged as the champion in the Sprint race followed by team Proton Mania in second. In the Endurance race, team Proton Mania was the first to cross the finish line.
Category G2 also saw the teams giving their best in competing for the top podium spot. Team PART has managed to secure a podium finish with round 6 being their only second race of the season. For round 6, team Slide One has proven themselves to be the better team and has more or less secured the Formula PLUS CUP G2 title. This means that they will be test-driving the 100cc 2-stroke go-kart along with team Shell IT in the near future.
“There are 24 teams registered in category G1 and G2 for round 6 and this is definitely a positive sign for the championship. I strongly feel that the number of participants will keep growing in the future,” commented Syazril Amri Abdul Rahman, founder of IGKC.
Apart from the race, there are a few other activities held for participating clubs and family members such as the ‘coloring competition’ and fun challenges such as ‘7 in a car’, ‘tyre change competition’ and ‘Best Car Club’. There were also demonstration by participating car accessories companies at the event.
