Proton Satria
Sight & Sound that Memerise All!

A Satria could be modified in more than one way or even category. It could be transform into a Cyborg in compliance with the JDM culture, an UFO if it follows the Ah Beng guide book and there are some that had even became track champion. But then again, not many would know that this compact two door hatchback would make an excellent platform for an audio system demo car. Its design is based on a compact chassis, thus creating a strong internal chassis. The work to insulate airways and sound is kept to a minimum while the audio composition could be one that is capable of cramping as many as you desire as you don’t have to think about the practicality of having to keep the rear seat or passenger mobility. Just throw it out and replace it with audio components of your choice.

TWC has an excellent idea on their demo car concept and a Proton Satria was chosen to be their guinea pig. As I slowly digested the diagram of this car, I have to measure it several times as it utilizes a two system setup, which is rarely done in a car. As a norm, the installer will use a different media system (CD/MP3/DVD or TV) which is integrated to a driver system, a mass of speakers and set of power amplifiers. However, the TWC Satria has a completely different system, which I will divulge in the next paragraph.
